APPRECIATION PLAY DAY and TRAIL RIDE
JANUARY 1st and 2nd 2005
12:00 noon start time
As good friends and fellow riders you and your family
are invited to join us in some fun and fellowship for a
relaxed weekend to start the New Year off right.
Activities start at noon on New Years Day. We are
planning about five events to test your riding skills
and those of your mighty steed. The cost is 3$ per
class. There will be awards for all classes and 3
HIGH POINT AWARDS:
top man---top
woman---top youth
After the EXTREME EVENTS there will be a BBQ. We will
supply the meat, table wares, & drinks:
coffee—tea—water—hot cider—hot chocolate. Any other
drinks are up to you. For those who are staying for
dinner we ask that you bring your favorite side dish to
share. Bring them cold, and we will warm them if needed.
For Sunday we are lining up a trail ride in the local
foothills. We should have enough leftovers for
sandwiches, but you might toss in some extra snack stuff
for the trail.
You are welcome to stay over night. Stalls are on first
come first get basis. We have 6 pipe pens available;
others can use tie lines or trailers. Sleeping
accommodations are: your trailer/camper or our patio
which is enclosed and heated. We have a few cots, again
first come first get.
We hope you can make it for the weekend. You don’t have
to ride, just stop by to visit, or have dinner. If
nothing else, you will most likely get a good laugh.
